Personal Information

We do not collect any personal information. AltKey Codes does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or any other personal details.

Usage Data

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Favorite Characters: Characters you mark as favorites
• Recently Used Characters: A list of characters you've recently accessed (limited to 10 items)
• Usage Statistics: How many times you've used each character (stored locally for sorting purposes)
• App Preferences: Your view preferences (grid vs. list view)

How We Use Your Information

All data mentioned above is:

• Stored exclusively on your device using iOS UserDefaults
• Used solely to enhance your app experience
• Never transmitted to our servers or any third parties
• Never shared, sold, or used for advertising purposes

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage Only

AltKey Codes uses iOS UserDefaults to store your preferences and usage data. This information:

• Remains on your device at all times
• Is protected by iOS security measures
• Can be deleted by removing the app from your device
• Is not backed up to iCloud or any external service

No Network Communication

Our app does not:

• Connect to the internet
• Send data to external servers
• Use analytics services
• Include advertising networks
• Use crash reporting services

Third-Party Services

AltKey Codes does not integrate with any third-party services. The app is completely self-contained and operates independently without external dependencies.

Children's Privacy

Since we don't collect any personal information, AltKey Codes is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. Parents can be confident that no personal data is collected or transmitted when their children use the app.

Data Deletion

To delete all data associated with AltKey Codes:

1. Delete the app from your iOS device
2. All preferences, favorites, and usage data will be permanently removed

There is no other data to delete since nothing is stored externally.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Since the app doesn't collect data, future updates are likely to maintain the same privacy-focused approach.

App Permissions

AltKey Codes requests minimal permissions:

• Clipboard Access: Only used when you choose to copy characters or Alt codes to your clipboard
• No other permissions are required or requested
